Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Josiah Pernell (the developer of Peachi) for your use of the Peachi app. By creating an account or using Peachi, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. Your license to use the app is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”).

Who can use Peachi

You must be at least 18 years old. You’re responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity on it. Give accurate information and keep it up to date.

Not medical advice

Peachi provides general fitness and nutrition information. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Calorie, protein and weight-goal suggestions are estimates for healthy adults. Talk to a doctor or registered dietitian before starting a diet or exercise program, especially if you are pregnant or nursing, have a medical condition, or have a history of disordered eating.

Peachi never plans goals below a healthy weight range or under a minimum daily calorie level. If you’re struggling with food, your body or your mental health, please reach out for support. In the US you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) any time. If you are in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number.

AI estimates

Meal scans and recipe imports use AI and can be wrong. Portions are hard to judge from photos. Review every estimate and adjust it before relying on it.

Subscriptions and free trials

Your content

You own the content you add (logs, recipes, photos, notes). You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run Peachi for you, including sending photos or recipe text to our AI provider when you use those features. You’re responsible for having the right to any content you import, like recipes from websites.

Acceptable use

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

Changes and availability

We may update, add or remove features. We’ll give notice of material changes to these terms in the app; continuing to use Peachi after they take effect means you accept them. We may stop offering Peachi; if we do, we’ll give reasonable notice where possible.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Peachi is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for health outcomes from following suggestions in the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Peachi in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Peachi or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is not responsible for any product claims, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, or intellectual-property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Where these terms and the Standard EULA conflict, these terms apply to the extent permitted.

Ending your account

You can stop using Peachi and delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy & data. Deleting your account doesn’t cancel an Apple subscription; cancel that in your Apple ID settings.
